Michael Savner, a Bank of America analyst, says the fuel price reductions, along with strong bookings, will probably help cruise lines in the first quarter.
"Anecdotal feedback from agents suggests healthy demand for cruises is due to the benign hurricane season and lower energy costs," Savner's report says. "On the flipside, mild temperatures in the Midwest and Northeast could dampen demand somewhat in those regions."
