One of the largest non-military contracts ever given by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers -- $150 million -- has gone to an engineering group to work on the southern Louisiana levee system. The group, led by Bioengineering Group of Salem, Mass., and ARCADIS U.S., of Highlands Ranch, Colo., will work on strengthening New Orleans flood control to 100-year storm levels.
