An Iowa family has filed suit against Key West's Doubletree Grand Key Resort after being overcome by carbon monoxide fumes a week before two other guests were overcome by the hazardous fumes in the same room, resulting in the death of one. A state fire official said the fumes came from a boiler room adjacent to the affected hotel room. Hotel management officials said they had not seen the lawsuit and could not comment.
