Hershey is cutting its workforce by 11.5%, letting go of 1,500 employees and closing some plants in the U.S. The restructuring will add up to as much as $190 million in savings annually, according to the company. "We recognize this will involve considerable change over the next three years, and intend to make this transformation of our supply chain as smooth as possible for our employees and customers," said Hershey President, Chairman and CEO Richard H. Lenny.
