Borrowing on the popularity of MySpace and Facebook, Barack Obama's presidential campaign has relaunched its Web site to operate like a social networking site. Users can create profiles, start personal blogs and form on-site networks. Within a week of the site's launch, 2,400 groups had formed, more than 4,000 people had begun blogging and in excess of 3,000 had set up personal fundraising pages.
