Online Ad Spending Growth to Slow in 2007

U.S. marketers will continue to shift their spending to online advertising in 2007. Despite this, growth of U.S. online ad spending will be lower than it has been for the last three years, dropping from annual rates of over 30% to just under 19% in 2007 for a total of $19.5 billion. There will be an uptick in 2008, because of the U.S. presidential elections and Summer Olympics.
