Wegmans Food Markets soon will offer more trans fats-free products, Mary Ellen Burris, the company's vice president of consumer affairs, said in an online column. "We're working on the removal aggressively and making progress," wrote Burris, adding all packaged bakery cookies will contain zero grams of trans fats per serving in 2007, while Wegmans brand products such as W-O's cookies and animal crackers will have no trans fats in the near future.
