The Louisiana tourism secretary says it will take until at least 2010 for the state's tourism industry to reach its pre-Hurricane Katrina level of $9 billion. The industry plunged to about $6 billion following the storm. Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu said the key to reviving Louisiana's and New Orleans' tourism industries is to continue feeding state money into marketing efforts.
