The Seaport Hotel in Boston is one-upping its competitors by offering not just wireless Internet access, but thin-client systems in rooms so guests can leave their laptops at home. The thin-clients, made by Igel Technology, are integrated into 17-inch flat-panel monitors with touch-screen capabilities, and they run on an embedded version of Windows XP.
