A growing number of 3-D printers are cropping up, as declining prices and increased interest in the devices continue to elevate their popularity. "In the future, everyone will have a printer like this at home," Hod Lipson, a professor at Cornell University, said. "You can imagine printing a toothbrush, a fork, a shoe. Who knows where it will go from here?"
