Perry's Ice Cream is offering limited-edition Gingerbread Cookie ice cream this holiday season. The new flavor, which includes pieces of gingerbread cookie dough and swirls of white icing, is available in New England and parts of New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Perry's Ice Cream Co. released a new range of 20 ice cream flavors under the brand Escapes, featuring eight pint styles and 12 quart varieties in such flavors as Nutty Pisctachio with almonds and the coconut ice cream-based Cocoa-Nut Bliss.
Perry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and Shur Fine Heavenly Hash, now made with peanuts and peanut butter from a new supplier, are back on retail shelves this month. "Food safety is our [No. 1] concern at Perry's. We have a 90-year reputation of delivering top quality, safe products to our consumers," Perry's executive vice president said in a statement.
Martha Stewart is applying her fastidious good taste to the cold and fresh food aisles at the country's largest warehouse retailer: Her name will brand a line of frozen, refrigerated and fresh foods sold at Costco, beginning in 2008.
