General Motors' Buick, whose sales have dropped 27% through May, vs. the same period in 2006, reportedly will move its creative chores from Interpublic Group's McCann Erickson to Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett.
Nissan's Infiniti will be the exclusive sponsor for Slate V, a new spinoff of the Web magazine Slate featuring original content, user-generated video and selections from the Web. "We will be producing new video daily in the unmistakable Slate voice our users have come to love," said Slate V editor Andy Bowers.
Philips, which is recognized in Europe for making a wide range of products, hopes to broaden the view of the brand in the U.S., where most people think of it as a maker of light bulbs. A new multiplatform campaign is intended to help consumers link its sub-brands such as Norelco, Sonicare, and Magnavox, back to Philips.
