Procter & Gamble will close its Clairol headquarters in Stamford, Conn., by 2010, cutting 615 jobs there and moving its manufacturing facilities to existing plants in Massachusetts and Mexico. About 150 employees will transfer to Cincinnati.
Interactive advertising network Digitas has hired Alan Rutherford, global media director for consumer products giant Unilever, to serve as CEO of its new Digital Global unit. Digitas chairman-CEO David Kenny will sit on the executive committee of parent company Publicis Groupe.
