Americans are confused about good and bad fats and the recommendations on which fats to eat and which to avoid, a new survey of 1,000 adults found. About 40% of respondents said they were trying to eat less polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, but guidelines recommend people eat more of those fats. One expert attributed the "diet disconnects" to difficulty achieving healthy lifestyles and the confusing, conflicting health information presented to Americans.
