Coca-Cola will be the exclusive beverage provider for Baja Fresh Mexican Grill for the next five years. Previously, Pepsi held the rights, which are worth up to $20 million over the five years, a Baja Fresh spokesman said.
Farmers in Paraguay are boosting their stevia crops to meet demand from companies such as Coca-Cola, which recently partnered with Cargill to use stevia in soft drinks and food. Paraguay is hoping to grow stevia exports to $37 million by 2011, up from $1 million.
