Two HIV drugs made by Tibotec Pharmaceuticals Ltd. help control the highly resistant forms of the virus when used in combination, a new study says. Trials in 18 countries showed the combination of etravirine and darunavir, both made by the Johnson & Johnson division, was effective in controlling the viral load in patients. Darunavir is an approved protease inhibitor sold as Prezista.
