A new study suggests more women may have anorexia than previously thought and also finds that some women recover without treatment. Results indicate there are 270 cases per 100,000 people per year among women ages 15 to 19, up from earlier estimates of 136 and 109 per 100,000. Researchers say as many as half of these cases go undiagnosed and untreated.
