Husky is a startup ad network from Heavy.com that would appeal to its main demographic -- young men -- through the use of "skins," which are ads that brand a site's video player and are considered to be less intrusive than standard preroll video spots. Heavy is in talks with about two dozen publishers, who could deliver to the new network a collective 50 to 60 million unique monthly visitors, not counting Heavy-owned sites, according to co-CEO Simon Assaad.
