Some 63% of New Jersey voters would have no concerns if lawmakers approved marriages, in place of civil unions, for same-sex couples, and 31% would mind the change in status, according to a Zogby poll. The survey also found that 72% would not change their vote for an incumbent who supported equal marriage rights, vs. 21% who said it would impact a lawmaker's reelection to the state legislature.
