Illinois State University's College of Business this fall is instituting a business-casual dress code for undergraduate marketing students that's designed to prepare them for the real office world. Those who don't follow the guidelines will receive a zero for that day and have to leave class. Some HR consultants question whether the policy is too stringent, especially for freshmen and sophomores.
