With Tribune Co. stock trading far below the $34 a share price fueling an $8.2 billion bid by real-estate mogul Sam Zell to take it private, analysts are speculating on three possible outcomes: The deal will proceed, leaving Tribune to assume even more debt; the agreement will fall through, with Tribune losing major tax advantages; or the terms will be recast to reflect the lower stock price.
