Consumers' love for pizza goes unabated even as the top U.S. chains are experiencing a sales lag, causing companies that don't normally don the pizza apron to enter the fray. Subway now serves personal-size pizzas at about half of its U.S. stores, and Dunkin' Donuts is wading into the market with 15 prototype stores serving made-to-order pizzas in six states.
