Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan reiterated concerns today that the U.S. economy was nearing a recession. Greenspan has also upped the likelihood of a recession from "one in three" in March to "less than 50-50." Greenspan stressed that he was not forecasting a recession, saying, "All you can basically know is whether the probabilities are increasing or decreasing."
