Newly merged MillerCoors will face some challenges as more consumers are broadening their tastes and turning to wine, distilled spirits and specialty drafts. Meanwhile, experts say that the merger poses a risk to smaller brewers because it will leave only Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors as the two large companies competing in the domestic beer market, a situation that could result eventually in a price increase.
