One of Florida's oldest grocery chains, Kash n' Karry, has converted its last locale in the 103-store chain to the company's new brand Sweetbay Supermarket. The project took three years, and the company will now focus on building itself as a successful regional grocery chain, CEO Shelley Broader said. Sweetbay stores range from 40,000 to 50,000 square feet, offer fresh-picked produce, quality meats, seafood, ethnic items, baked goods and a deli area near the center of the store.
