CBS, NBC Universal and News Corp's Fox Entertainment and MySpace are among the traditional and new-media companies agreeing to a set of "collaborative principles" on copyright and other issues around online video. Google, whose YouTube is the subject of a $1 billion copyright-infringement lawsuit, is not part of the agreement, but has developed new technology to prevent copyrighted material from being posted on YouTube, according to this article.
