Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. is stepping up efforts to revitalize its place in the U.S. gum market after Cadbury Schweppes entered the scene, analysts say. The introduction of a new gum brand called 5 and international sales, which constitute about 60% of the company's total sales, will likely play roles in Wrigley's revival efforts, analysts added.
