Qantas Airlines has sent staff to Seattle to monitor Boeing's assembly of the 787. The Australian airline, which has ordered 65 planes, is also making contingency plans in case the 787 experiences more delays. "Boeing has been quite open with us," Qantas CEO Geoff Dixon said. "They do appear confident that there will only be a six-month delay. But I'd be lying not to say that we have our concerns."
