The growing demand for more affordable drugs around the world is key to Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.'s promising performance in the coming years, according to analysts. Teva, the world's largest generic drug maker, aggressively pursues legal challenges to patent-protected drugs in order to get its own versions into the market, and consequently it has more than 150 abbreviated new drug applications pending with the FDA.
