Strong winds in Russia have worked against crews working to clean up after an oil tanker that split in two in a devastating storm that sank at least 11 ships. Officials said the 560,000 gallons of spilled fuel oil in the Kerch Strait off the Black Sea represented an environmental disaster for the region around the seaport of Port Kavkaz, and could cause long-lasting damage to marine life.
