AT&T and Verizon Wireless will swap assets in a deal aimed at meeting regulatory requirements for AT&T's purchase of Dobson Communications. AT&T will receive some properties of Rural Cellular once Verizon closes on its deal for that company; Verizon will get some Dobson assets, a 10-MHz slice of spectrum in several markets and an undisclosed amount of cash from AT&T.
