The government of Australia may place a $1.5 billion order with Boeing and Raytheon for F/A-18 fighter jet support services and equipment. Australia needs the services and parts to maintain its planes. The sale could also include sidewinder missiles and electronic warfare countermeasure systems, among other item.
The Department of Homeland Security in late November started collecting scans of all 10 fingerprints from foreign travelers entering the U.S. at Dulles International Airport. DHS will extend the program to all international airports in the country by the end of next year.
