Lockheed Martin's plant in Moorestown, N.J., recently hosted 70-plus teenage girls during the company's annual Women in Engineering Day. Lockheed engineers worked with the students on activities that simulated what the engineers do every day. "Each year, we try to reach out to more young women to show them how their natural interests in math and science could translate into exciting engineering careers," said Carrie Ballester, mechanical engineer and event organizer.
