Adrienne Hall, Hall Group International Marketing president-CEO, died Saturday at the age of 81. Hall founded Hall & Levine Advertising, the first U.S. advertising agency run by women. The shop, founded in the early 1970s, was acquired by Foote, Cone & Belding. Gerry Rubin, co-founder of Santa Monica, Calif., agency RPA, said: "She represented the values and passion necessary to do brilliant work. She was the consummate professional and a steward for what this industry represents."
