AT&T, the nation's top cell phone carrier, will expand its 3G network to 80 additional cities by year-end, which will bring its wireless coverage to about 350 cities, the company said. AT&T, which owns service-exclusivity for Apple's hit iPhone, also hopes to complete construction by midyear of its HSUPA-enabled network aimed at helping upgrade service for users of notebook computers and wireless devices.
