With Frontline Wireless out of the bidding, the "D" block of 700-megahertz wireless spectrum has only attracted one bidder, a development that concerns House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman John Dingell, D-Mich., who sees these airwaves as important. "They seem to be having real problems in terms of getting people who say they can meet the requirements with regard to police, fire and public safety while at the same time paying the proper price," Dingell said.
