The Pentagon is considering buying more Stryker armored vehicles for the Army and Army Reserves. The Stryker, which is made by General Dynamics, is a multi-platform vehicle capable of carrying up to nine soldiers. Meanwhile, employees at General Dynamics Land Systems' Lima, Ohio, plant will start work on a contract to to upgrade 435 M1A1 Abrams tanks for the Army.
