A February 2008 research report by Gartner shows that U.S. and U.K. consumers are more likely to browse than buy when accessing e-tailers by mobile phone. Twenty-four percent of U.S. respondents said they would be likely to search for item prices by mobile phone compared with 12% who said they would make a purchase.
