With 40,000 new hotel rooms expected in central Las Vegas by 2012, some experts fear that limited capacity at McCarran International Airport will hurt resorts' chances for success. Speaking at the Reuters Travel and Leisure Summit on Tuesday, Deutsche Bank analyst Bill Lerner said the city will need to attract 75% more tourists to fill those rooms -- a figure that will prove "difficult to impossible to achieve" with the current transportation infrastructure.
