Amy Eagle, client services director at MDC Partners' Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, has been hired by Omnicom Group's DDB to be global business director on its estimated $100 million Unilever ice cream account. DDB in January won creative duties for Unilever's supermarket-based brands, including Breyers, Wall's and Carte D'Or.
Kentucky legislators voted 90-5 in favor of a bill that seeks to establish a state dairy commission and possibly control milk prices. The bill's sponsor says prices are increasing partly because Kentucky imports much of its milk from other states.

Lifeway Foods plans to sell its ProBugs organic kefir brand at 160 new Harris Teeter stores, 75 new Cub Food stores and 145 more Ralph's stores across the country. ProBugs is a probiotic-enriched fermented milk drink designed for children.
BelGioioso Cheese in Wisconsin is scheduled to hold a grand opening ceremony for its fifth plant next week. The new 90,000-square-foot plant will make fresh mozzarella and fontina, two of the company's more than 25 handcrafted Italian specialty cheeses.
