Nearly one in four U.S. mobile-phone users have viewed ads on their phones in the past month, with about 50% of them responding to the pitches, according to research from The Nielsen Co. The survey also found a third of users of text messaging and the mobile Web are open to receiving ads if it reduces their bill, and 14% do not mind receiving relevant ads.
