Teens who have a television in their bedroom may not eat as healthily, and may exercise less and earn lower grades than their peers who lack their own TV set, according to a University of Minnesota School of Public Health study of 781 15- to 18-year-olds in the Minneapolis area. "It really clearly points out that there's some merit to not allowing your child to have a TV in the bedroom," said researcher Daheia Barr-Anderson.
