Nevada inspectors said they found no structural problems with roads and bridges near the epicenter of last week's magnitude 4.7 earthquake, although a quake of magnitude 5 or more could cause significant damage. Bridges, in particular, could crack in the event of a stronger quake. Most bridges along Interstate 80 have been retrofitted to withstand a more powerful event, said Todd Stefonowicz of the Nevada Department of Transportation's structures division.
