The FAA on Tuesday announced that Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport will receive $2.3 million for runway repairs -- the last of 360 airport projects funded with a $1.1 billion appropriation under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Atlanta City Council's Transportation Committee has approved a pilot program for paid, high-speed security lanes for travelers who go through extensive background checks. The committee said it will also move ahead with free, expedited lanes.
