The Consumer Electronics Association, along with several other technology groups, is urging President George W. Bush and members of Congress to approve proposed free-trade agreements with Colombia, Panama and South Korea. "The tech industry is pulling the economy and we need our political leaders to know that the passage of the Colombia, Panama and South Korea free-trade agreements is important to our workers, our industry and our national competitiveness," said CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro.
