As gas prices top $4 per gallon, oil companies are touting their commitment to alternative energy and the environment. A recent Gallup poll shows that a majority of American consumers feel the oil industry merits a "great deal of blame" for problems in the energy sector.
Glam Media was expected today to announce its acquisition of U.K.-based digital-marketing company Monetise as a way to help it grow ad operations in Europe and Asia. According to comScore, Glam Media clocked 42 million unique U.S. users in May of this year.
