Seven years after what many thought was the end of the age of skyscrapers -- the collapse of the World Trade Center -- the exact opposite is happening. A wave of record-high new skyscrapers is sweeping the globe, with as many as 36 buildings exceeding about 1,000 feet and an additional 69 "supertall" buildings in the works.
