The market for medical-imaging equipment in Eastern Europe is expected to reach $631.5 million by 2014, boosted by private-sector growth and health care financing, according to a Frost & Sullivan report. Public hospitals in the region have been turning to private financial-service companies to secure financial autonomy, allowing them to buy medical-imaging devices, the analysis found.
