MySpace, Facebook and other social-networking sites may help teens practice so-called 21st-century skills, such as technology, creativity, tolerance and communication, according to a University of Minnesota education study. "The Web sites offer tremendous educational potential," said lead researcher Christine Greenhow. "Now that we know what skills students are learning and what experiences they are being exposed to, we can help foster and extend those skills."
