Arkansas is celebrating progress on Boardwalk Pipeline Partners' $4.7 billion pipeline expansion, one of the largest expansions under way in the U.S. The natural gas pipeline, made of 36-inch and 42-inch diameter pipe, will run 1,000 miles in parts of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas, delivering gas from the Fayetteville Shale. The 167-mile Fayetteville Lateral will employ 1,350 people at the peak of construction.
